The first half of Version 6.1 was packed with major updates — including the debut of Miliastra Wonderland, the introduction of Nefer, and the continuation of The Song of the Welkin Moon storyline. Interestingly, public wish data shows that Nefer’s banner received twice as many pulls as Furina’s, though only half as many as Flins from Version 6.0. This once again highlights the community’s increasing enthusiasm for male character banners in Genshin Impact.

However, players are also looking ahead — especially toward Columbina’s long-awaited debut in Version 6.3. Since Nod-Krai will not receive any new map expansions in Versions 6.1 or 6.2, many players expect a relative Primogem drought, making the decision of when to pull even more crucial.

🔥 Arlecchino and Zhongli: Two Icons, Two Playstyles

Both featured 5-Stars bring strong reasons to pull. Arlecchino, while not dethroning Mavuika as the top Pyro DPS, remains a highly versatile and stylish fighter capable of keeping pace with the current meta. Her aggressive gameplay and self-sustaining kit make her especially appealing for players seeking a fast-paced Pyro unit.

Meanwhile, Zhongli continues to be one of Genshin Impact’s most universally valuable characters. His powerful shield and crowd control make him a cornerstone for comfort-oriented players, trading raw damage for incredible team stability and safety in combat rotations.

🌬️ Spotlight on 4-Star Characters

Among the 4-Stars, Lan Yan stands out as the most anticipated pick. Her Anemo Catalyst playstyle and flexible kit make her a strong support option — and at Constellation 2, she can even rival Zhongli’s shielding capabilities in certain setups.

Rosaria and Yun Jin, though more specialized, can still offer valuable team synergy, especially in Arlecchino-centric or hybrid team compositions. Rosaria’s Cryo application and Yun Jin’s normal attack buffs continue to make them reliable, if situational, options.

Should You Pull or Save?

For players managing limited Primogems, it may be wise to save for upcoming characters like Durin or Columbina.

  • Durin is expected to debut in Version 6.2 (first half) as an off-field Pyro Support, designed to synergize with other members of the Hexenzirkel.
  • Columbina, arriving later in Version 6.3, is rumored to be one of the most visually and mechanically ambitious characters in recent updates.

Final Thoughts

The second half of Genshin Impact Version 6.1 offers two of the most beloved 5-Stars in the game’s history, paired with a balanced support roster that complements both veterans and newcomers. Whether you’re after Arlecchino’s fiery elegance or Zhongli’s unbreakable defense, this phase promises strong pulls before the next wave of story and character content arrives in December.
