INDUSTRIA 2 Demo Released with Unreal Engine 5.6 Showcase

Bleakmill has launched a public demo for INDUSTRIA 2, positioning the project as one of the first narrative shooters built on Unreal Engine 5.6. The team behind the game is presenting a compact, story-driven FPS adventure, with an estimated runtime of four to six hours, and has made clear that it will avoid live-service models or microtransactions.

According to the developers, INDUSTRIA 2 features physics-based interactions, a diegetic inventory, and a crafting system designed to serve the narrative instead of stretching playtime. The studio is aiming for what it describes as a “filler-free journey,” with the emphasis placed firmly on atmosphere and pacing rather than side missions or open-world distractions.

The game makes full use of Unreal Engine’s Lumen technology, with early reports from players noting that the demo runs more smoothly than many other UE5 titles. Visual fidelity combines with immersive mechanics, including the ability to dismantle enemy bodies during combat. Players will have access to five weapons, each customizable with upgrades such as silencers, extended magazines, and special attack options.

The sound design is also receiving attention. Bleakmill has promised full voice acting, adaptive music that shifts during action encounters, and detailed audio effects to enhance tension across encounters. These touches indicate that the developers want INDUSTRIA 2 to sit closer to a narrative thriller than a traditional arena shooter.

With its streamlined focus, upgraded technology, and public playtest now available, INDUSTRIA 2 offers a first glimpse at how Unreal Engine 5.6 could push forward smaller, tightly designed projects. The demo is currently available for download on Steam, allowing players to preview the direction Bleakmill is taking before the full release.
