Design and Color Options

The leak includes a collection of 39 high-quality images, showcasing the Xperia 1 VII from multiple angles. The device will reportedly be available in three color variants: black, green, and purple.

Design-wise, Sony sticks to its signature aesthetic — a rectangular chassis with a flat display and flat rear panel. The top and bottom bezels are noticeably thicker than on most modern phones, allowing Sony to avoid screen cutouts for the front camera.

Physical Layout and Button Placement

All physical buttons are placed on the right side of the device. This includes:

  • A power/lock button with an integrated fingerprint scanner
  • Volume controls
  • A dedicated shutter button — a signature Sony feature appreciated by mobile photography enthusiasts

Camera Configuration and ZEISS Partnership

On the rear, the Xperia 1 VII features a triple-camera array housed in a vertical module in the top-left corner. The setup includes:

  • An ultra-wide camera
  • A standard wide-angle main lens
  • A periscope-style telephoto lens for improved optical zoom

Sony continues its long-standing collaboration with ZEISS, with the lenses featuring T coating* to minimize reflections and lens flare.

Noteworthy Additions

One standout detail: the Xperia 1 VII will include a 3.5mm headphone jack — a rare feature in today’s flagship phones and a welcome return for audiophiles.

Unconfirmed Specs, But Familiar Style

While full technical specifications have not yet been confirmed, the leaked Japanese-language marketing materials hint at several enhancements and refinements. However, from what we can see, the Xperia 1 VII maintains Sony’s classic minimalist design and camera-first approach.
