General Grievous has earned a fearsome reputation across the Clone Wars, collecting lightsabers from fallen Jedi thanks to his brutal efficiency and combat training from Count Dooku. Now, this iconic Kaleesh cyborg and commander of the Separatist droid army is making his way into Fortnite — ready to claim even more trophies.

As part of Fortnite's Star Wars: Galactic Battle season, General Grievous arrives as the secret skin of the Battle Pass. True to form, secret skins aren't available at launch, but fans won't have to wait too long to unlock this legendary warrior.

🗓 When Does General Grievous Unlock in Fortnite?

Players who own the Galactic Battle Pass can unlock General Grievous starting May 15 at 9 AM ET.

While he's not available on the launch day of Star Wars x Fortnite: Galactic Battle, the wait is short. Like other Chapter 6 Battle Pass secret skins, General Grievous will be released alongside a series of themed quests, giving players the chance to earn XP and unlock him on the same day.

🎮 What’s Included With General Grievous in Fortnite?

At launch, it’s confirmed that General Grievous will be available as a customizable Outfit, along with a LEGO Fortnite variant. However, fans should note that the LEGO version is not the classic Grievous design seen in past LEGO Star Wars games.

When he fully releases, General Grievous will come with a total of 14 Star Wars-themed cosmetics, including his outfit. While Epic Games hasn’t revealed the full list yet, players can expect a mix of themed items — possibly emotes, back bling, pickaxes, and more — all worthy of this cybernetic Jedi killer.
