Fortnite Reveals White Widow & Winter Soldier Skins Ahead of Thunderbolts Release

Fortnite is gearing up for another Marvel crossover—this time tying into the upcoming MCU film Thunderbolts. Epic Games has confirmed that White Widow and Winter Soldier skins will be coming to the game very soon, giving fans new cosmetics to look forward to as Chapter 6 Season 2 winds down.

As Fortnite prepares for its next season, Galactic Battle, the game continues to expand its lineup of pop culture crossovers. The new season, set to feature a full Star Wars theme, was recently unveiled at Star Wars Celebration Japan. Iconic characters like Emperor Palpatine, Mace Windu, and even Darth Jar Jar will join the battle royale, alongside legendary vehicles such as the X-Wing and TIE Fighter.

Amid all this excitement, Epic Games has revealed another surprise: the introduction of White Widow and Winter Soldier cosmetics, coinciding with Marvel’s Thunderbolts promotion.

🏆 Thunderbolts Cup: Earn White Widow & Winter Soldier Rewards

Fortnite players will get a chance to earn the White Widow skin for free by participating in the Thunderbolts Cup, taking place on April 25. This special event is limited to duos only, so players will need to team up to compete.

Participants will accumulate points based on:

• Match victories
• Eliminations
• Overall placement

The top performers in each region will unlock the White Widow skin at no cost. Additionally:

• 40 points: Unlocks the White Widow Wrap
• 8 points: Unlocks the Winter Soldier Wrap

Even if you don't top the leaderboard, there's still a chance to earn exclusive rewards just for participating.

🛒 Skins & Bundles Arrive in Item Shop April 30

Missed the Cup? No worries—all cosmetics will be available for purchase in the Item Shop starting April 30. This includes:

• White Widow skin
• Winter Soldier skin
• Matching emotes, back blings, pickaxes, and wraps

While prices haven’t been confirmed yet, players are hoping for better value compared to Fortnite’s recent Adventure Time crossover. Many fans were disappointed that those cosmetics weren’t bundled together, resulting in higher overall costs for collectors.
