First Look at the Mini-Map and Returning Locations

Trusted Fortnite leaker HYPEX recently shared the first image of the new mini-map for Fortnite Reload: Chapter 2. The map appears to revive several beloved locations from earlier seasons, including:

• Logjam Logging
• Dirty Docks
• Slurpy Swamp
• Fort Crumpet
• Stilt Town
• Lockdown Lighthouse

While not every Chapter 2 location is returning, this curated selection fits the more compact, fast-paced nature of Fortnite Reload, which is known for streamlined gameplay and tighter maps.

The Combat Shotgun Returns

Alongside the map leak, HYPEX confirmed that the Combat Shotgun will be making a comeback in Chapter 2. The high-damage, long-range shotgun has been a staple in past seasons and is expected to add intensity to upcoming matches.

Some fans are speculating whether Epic Games will also bring back weapon upgrading mechanics, a system that played a major role in Chapter 2's original run. However, opinions are divided, as the slower pace of upgrading might not mesh well with Reload's faster tempo.
