
Diablo IV in 2025: Roadmap Featuring Crossovers, Updates, and a New DLC
Blizzard has unveiled the Diablo IV Roadmap for 2025: crossovers, Belial, and preparations for the next expansion.
Blizzard has shared the 2025 Roadmap for Diablo IV. Players can look forward to the continuation of the Age of Hatred storyline — following the return of Lilith and Mephisto in the Vessel of Hatred expansion, their influence will only grow stronger. Throughout the year, players will experience new seasonal events, storylines, and the buildup to the next major expansion set to launch in 2026.
The flames of the Burning Hells will blaze anew in Diablo IV! In addition to fresh seasonal content and ongoing updates, the game will also feature two crossovers with other universes. While details are still under wraps, the developers promise that the dark themes of these worlds will perfectly complement the Diablo atmosphere.

Key features coming to the game throughout the year:Belial returns – The Lord of Lies is once again free and ready to twist reality to his will. Players will face off against him and two other bosses from Vessel of Hatred as part of the updated Lair Boss system.Sins of the Horadrim – Nightmare Dungeons are getting even more intense with new activities and mechanics that allow players to gradually increase difficulty while hunting down the barons of Hell.Infernal Chaos – The Infernal Horde becomes even more unpredictable. Players will have more freedom in choosing between waves, along with new expanded settings.
In addition to seasonal content, Diablo IV will receive several permanent improvements.One of the most anticipated features is keyboard and mouse support for consoles, giving players more flexibility and control.The Battle Pass and Seasonal Journey systems will also be reworked to make them more engaging and rewarding.
It seems that with the release of the first season of Path of Exile 2, Blizzard decided not to stay silent and reminded players of Diablo IV’s presence.
