Travel firm used Ghost of Tsushima for Tsushima Island advertising campaign
Discover Nagasaki has come up with an unusual ad campaign. They created a special page where they posted a comparison of how Tsushima Island looks in the game Ghost of Tsusima and in real life. At the same time, they offered to look at this island on their own, using their services as a travel company. They have attached real photos from the places that can be visited in the game.
In addition to photographs from the island, the page also contains historical information about the events that are told in the Ghost of Tsushima. Recall that the game is about the Mongol invasion of Japan.
Notably, Sucker Punch Productions, who developed this game, are supporting this campaign. Such cooperation is obviously fruitful for both parties.
Ghost of Tsushima was released on July 17 on PlayStation 4 and was highly acclaimed by game journalists and gamers alike. The game received 83 out of 100 points from representatives of game journalism and 9.2 points out of 10 from users who purchased Ghost of Tsushima.
