Nintendo Announces Switch 2 Release Date and Features

Nintendo has officially announced that the highly anticipated Switch 2 will be released on June 5. The announcement was made during the company's latest online Direct presentation.

The new console features a 7.9-inch 1080p display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 4K-capable docking station, and upgraded Joy-Con 2 controllers, which can function as a mouse. Additionally, the Switch 2 comes with 256GB of internal storage, a significant upgrade from the 32GB available in the original model.

New Mario Kart World Game Unveiled

Alongside the console, Nintendo also revealed Mario Kart World, an open-world racing game featuring dynamic time-of-day and weather effects. The game will support up to 24 players in a single race and will launch on the same day as the Switch 2.
