GTA 6 Fans Expose Fake Leak of Soundtrack
As the wait for GTA 6 continues, it seems like every tiny piece of news gets picked up by the eager community. But some fans have learned the hard way that not everything circulating on social media is legit.
This week, a supposed leak about the soundtrack for GTA 6 gained traction, with fans buzzing over a list of artists including Nicki Minaj, Lil Wayne, and The Weeknd. The source? A screenshot of a now-deleted post from Rockstar's official X account, shared by Pop Crave, a news outlet focused on entertainment.
At first glance, it looked authentic enough. The post claimed to reveal a list of tracks coming to the game. Of course, fans were quick to express their opinions, with many diving deep into the potential vibe of the game with these high-profile artists involved. But hold up – there was one big problem: it was all a hoax.
By the way, I already mentioned real leaks and their major consequences in my article with the pompous title GTA 6 ALL Info, which also talks about the collaboration between Grand Theft Auto developers and Roblox.
While the post seemed to appear on Rockstar's social media for a moment, the gaming community quickly debunked it. For starters, if this had been a real Rockstar post, GTA fans would’ve been all over it, screenshots and all, long before Pop Crave had the chance to share it. Plus, Rockstar's official channels have been pretty quiet, with no mention of GTA 6's soundtrack. In fact, the only recent posts from the gaming giant have been updates about Red Dead Online, new missions in GTA Online, and even an announcement about a Rockstar Discord server.
In short, it seems like fans are just too eager to believe any little tidbit that might come their way when it comes to GTA 6. The desperation is real, but this soundtrack leak? It's just another fake.
I screenshotted the cover for this post from the YouTube channel Baltic House Orchestra, which published a mixed version of the GTA 6 Trailer 1 soundtrack. After listening to this melody and its lyrics in an epic tone, I rethought how impactful the new GTA will be, as it builds its story on an eternal theme…
By the way, the font is similar to the one on the cover of the French adult film of the same name.
So, to all the hopefuls looking for real news on GTA 6, just remember to take everything you see online with a grain of salt. Rockstar will share the official details when they’re ready, and until then, it’s all just speculation. Stay tuned, but don’t get caught up in the fake hype!
