The 20th anniversary of God of War is here, and it’s bringing tons of exciting new content for fans to enjoy! Starting on March 20, players can get their hands on the free Dark Odyssey Collection, inspired by the iconic black and gold theme from the early days of God of War. But that’s not all! From March 15 to 23, fans in Los Angeles can check out a special God of War 20th Anniversary Art Exhibition at Gallery Nucleus. The exhibition will feature a range of artwork celebrating the franchise’s 20-year legacy, including concept art, memorabilia, and pieces by current and former Santa Monica Studio developers.

And if you’re a God of War superfan, there’s even more on the way. A new 20th Anniversary Retrospective Book will be released later this year, packed with interviews from the developers behind the series. Plus, in 2025, a special print collection from Cook and Becker will drop, alongside an amazing vinyl collection, new apparel, and even a Jörmungandr plush!

This anniversary celebration is a true tribute to the beloved franchise, and it’s all about honoring the legacy that has shaped God of War into one of the most iconic gaming series of all time.

For those who haven’t yet played God of War Ragnarok, it was added to PlayStation Plus earlier this year - definitely a great way for new players to jump into the action.

And while we’re celebrating the past, it seems there’s some interesting news in the air - reports recently surfaced that Sony has canceled two unannounced live-service PlayStation games, one of which could have been another God of War title.

So, if you’re a God of War fan, now’s the time to join in on the anniversary festivities and take part in this epic celebration of one of gaming’s greatest franchises!
