Steam Spring Sale Kicks Off Today – What You Need to Know

The highly anticipated Steam Spring Sale starts today, March 13, at 7:00 PM UTC and will run until March 20, 7:00 PM UTC. That means you have a full week to grab some great deals and expand your gaming backlog.

While Valve hasn't revealed all the details just yet, they have released a trailer showcasing some of the titles expected to get discounts.

Steam also recently set a new record for concurrent users, reaching 40 million people playing or browsing the store at the same time.

The voice-over jokingly guides viewers through a list of games, featuring indie adventures, dark horror titles, and the Game Awards 2024-winning card game.

Steam hosts four major seasonal sales, but there are also many themed sales and ones from specific developers. Among the seasonal sales, the Winter Sale is the biggest, offering the largest number of discounts – sometimes even an entire game series at 90% off.

The Spring Sale isn't as massive, as it follows right after the winter one, but keep an eye on the games shown in the trailer and beyond – some of them are bound to get a 50% discount.
