Originally introduced in 2021, Lara Croft quickly became a fan-favorite due to her clean design and four unique styles. However, because she was part of a past Battle Pass, players who joined Fortnite after that season ended were unable to obtain her.

For years, fans have hoped for her return, and now, according to leaked information, the iconic Tomb Raider protagonist may be making a comeback in Chapter 6 Season 2.

Lara Croft (2000s) Skin Reportedly Coming Soon

Well-known Fortnite leaker ShiinaBR recently shared details on X (formerly Twitter), stating that Lara Croft will return—but not in her original form. Instead of bringing back the OG skin, Epic Games is reportedly introducing a brand-new version called "Lara Croft (2000s)."

While the official design hasn’t been revealed yet, the skin is expected to closely resemble Lara’s appearance in the Tomb Raider IV–VI Remastered games. The leak also suggests that multiple style variants will be included, though details on those remain unclear.

Additionally, the Lara Croft set will feature a car skin, further expanding her presence in Fortnite. The current description for the new skin reads:"A globetrotting archaeologist with a penchant for dangerous adventures."

Expected Release Date & Additional Collaborations

According to ShiinaBR, Lara Croft (2000s) will arrive within the current patch cycle, suggesting a release in the near future. If accurate, the skin could launch around the same time as the second wave of the Invincible collaboration and the Shohei Ohtani Fortnite skin.

As with all leaked content, it’s best to take this information with caution until Epic Games makes an official announcement. However, if the reports hold true, Lara Croft’s long-awaited return to Fortnite is just around the corner—albeit in a brand-new form.
