Shohei Ohtani Joins Fortnite’s Expanding Collab Roster

Fortnite’s collaborations go beyond video games and TV shows, frequently featuring real-world icons, including actors, musicians, and athletes. Now, Epic Games has unveiled a Shohei Ohtani crossover, right after teasing a second wave of Invincible skins.

Fortnite Shohei Ohtani Collab Release Date

The Shohei Ohtani skins will be available in Fortnite’s Item Shop starting March 17, 2025, at 8 PM ET.

Additionally, new Shohei Ohtani Quests will go live on March 18, 2025, offering bonus XP. These quests will remain available until the end of Chapter 6, Season 2, giving players ample time to complete them.

How to Get the Samurai Shohei Outfit Early for Free

Players looking to unlock the Samurai Shohei skin before its official release can participate in the Shohei Ohtani Cup on March 16, 2025.

This Solos tournament will follow a point-based system, where eliminations and placements contribute to your overall score:

• Each elimination: +2 points
• Victory Royale: +60 points

Players who place high enough in their region will earn early access to the Samurai Shohei skin for free before it hits the Item Shop.
