Warner Bros Gaming Unit Going to Sell
AT&T’s intention to sell the Warner Bros gaming division became known in June 2020. According to reputable American publisher CNBC, the deal could amount to $ 4 billion. Moreover, the sale transaction may include an agreement according to which AT&T will receive income from projects on the universes of Mortal Combat, Scribblenauts, Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. Famous companies became interested in the purchase.
Among the main bidders for the purchase of the Warner Bros gaming division are such companies:
- Take-Two Interactive;
- Electronc Arts;
- Activision Blizzard
Also, according to The Information, Microsoft is interested in buying. So far, the deal is in place, so we are waiting for detailed information in the foreseeable future.
The gaming division of Warner Bros was presented to us by the games of the Mortal Combat, Batman, Middle Earth series. Under their wing are such studios as: Monolith Productions, Rocksteady Studios, NetherRealm Studios, Avalanche Software, TT Games and others.
