New Vehicle Leaks Ahead of Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 Release

A new vehicle has leaked ahead of its release in Fortnite's upcoming Chapter 5 Season 3. The next season, titled “Wrecked,” is post-apocalypse-themed and launches on May 24. Although no cosmetics have been revealed yet, the season’s big collaboration with Fallout hints at exciting new themed cosmetics.

Fortnite recently tweeted an image featuring power armor surrounded by dust with the words "Fortnite Battle Royale," confirming the collaboration with Fallout. Fallout also tweeted the same image with the caption, “Something S.P.E.C.I.A.L. coming.” This collaboration ties in perfectly with the post-apocalyptic theme, and fans can expect Fallout-themed cosmetics soon.

Twitch streamer Swearin shared a picture of a toy Fortnite vehicle that has yet to be released. "Fortnite sent me a car inspired by one of the new vehicles for next season," Swearin tweeted. The image shows a red tow-truck toy car with a black cogwheel on its sides and engine exhausts visible from the hood and side-skirts. The vehicle has a sleek design and a license plate with the letters “EAT NTRO," possibly hinting at the next season's theme.

Chapter 5 Season 3: A Post-Apocalyptic Theme for Fortnite

Fortnite’s live events have been teasing the release of Chapter 5 Season 3 for some time. The most recent event featured Zeus's lightning striking Pandora’s Box, sinking it to the bottom of the Styx River. A blinking red light now hovers over the horizon, spelling out “no hope” in Morse code. Pandora’s Box, long associated with the apocalypse, serves as a fitting transition to the next season.

Fans have a limited time to prepare for the upcoming season. A series of quests has been available since March 8, allowing players to catch up in the Battle Pass. The current “Myths & Mortals” season features Greek-themed skins that players might not want to miss. Players should aim to complete the Battle Pass by 1:30 AM ET on May 24, as the downtime for the new season begins around 2 AM ET, with matchmaking usually disabled 30 minutes prior.
