The release of the next major update for Baldur's Gate 3 is being slightly delayed
The next update for Baldur's Gate 3 is expected to be "significant," according to a recent tweet from Larian Studios. Unfortunately, its release is being postponed from September 21st to September 22nd due to the need for more thorough testing.
Additionally, it has been confirmed that there will be full Mac support, but it's currently unclear what changes the next update will bring. The fact that it promises to be quite substantial has me eagerly anticipating what's in store.
Baldur's Gate 3 has already been a remarkable success, and the ongoing updates, fixes, and support from Larian only fuel the excitement that players have for this game. Despite the fact that there's still much for me to discover, the idea that there's even more to come is keeping me on the edge of my seat.
Regular updates and mod support provide the game with a strong foundation and longevity. Skyrim was released in 2011, and we're still discussing the best modifications in 2023, thanks to its deep gameplay and the passion of its community. I hope that in 10 years, I'll still be exploring the worlds of Baldur's Gate 3 and writing about it for the same passionate reasons. Baldur's Gate 3 is built on a system designed for endless storytelling and adventures, so let's hope that this is just the beginning of something that will endure for much longer.
