The Everywhere game trailer offers a first look at gameplay alongside an announcement of the alpha test
The Edinburgh-based studio, led by former Grand Theft Auto producer Leslie Benzies, unveiled the first trailer for the game Everywhere during the Gamescom Opening Night Live event last August and announced plans to release the game in 2023. However, the exact release date has not been confirmed yet, and it is likely that the game won't be available until next year at the earliest. Nevertheless, on Thursday, Build a Rocket Boy announced that players can already register to reserve their usernames and apply for participation in the closed alpha testing, giving them a chance to be among the first to try the game.
According to the studio, Everywhere "seamlessly combines gameplay, adventure, creativity, and discovery in a multi-world gaming experience that redefines how players interact with each other and the digital world around them."
The gameplay revealed in the trailer provides an initial glimpse into the scale and diversity of possibilities within the world of Everywhere, where players can engage in countless activities or create their own.
Invitation-only closed alpha testing will begin "soon" on PC, and Build A Rocket Boy also plans to conduct additional testing programs in the future.
"We believe in a future where game creation is in the hands of players," said Benzies. "With Everywhere, we aim to empower everyone to innovate, take risks, and build their own worlds, shaped purely by their imagination. We provide the tools, inspiration, and infrastructure, and we look forward to how our community will contribute to shaping the next generation of developers to help expand the story of Everywhere."
