Apparently, the game "Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare" is gearing up to be added to the PlayStation Plus Classics collection
Sony announced the game catalog and classic titles for PlayStation Plus in January 2024 on Wednesday.
As reported by Push Square, PlayStation UK's X account initially included "Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare" in the list of upcoming PlayStation Plus titles for this month before deleting the message.
According to reports, PlayStation Access, the official YouTube channel of PlayStation UK, also included the 2001 PS1 game in its video roundup of this month's PS Plus releases before editing the video to remove mention of the title.
Assuming it will be added to the subscription service later, the release of "The New Nightmare" could be synchronized with the upcoming reboot of Alone in the Dark, which was recently delayed for a second time.
Originally scheduled for release in October 2023 and then postponed to this month, the game will now be released on March 20, 2024.
New additions to the game catalog and classic titles for PlayStation Plus this month are scheduled for January 16.
Among the new catalog titles are Resident Evil 2, Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, and Hardspace: Shipbreaker.
The new classic titles will be Rally Cross, Star Wars: Episode 1 The Phantom Menace, Street Fighter: 30th Anniversary Collection, Legend of Mana, and Secret of Mana.
