An exclusive 3D platformer featuring Sonic is launching specifically for Apple Arcade

The new 3D platformer, Sonic Dream Team, promises diversity in the world of mobile gaming, breaking away from the previously dominant endless runner style Sonic games. In this game, players will have the opportunity to control not only Sonic but also his friends, including Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Rouge, and Cream. The premiere of Sonic Dream Team is scheduled for December 5.

The game's storyline revolves around a mysterious device called Reverie, which was discovered by Dr. Eggman. Reverie possesses an incredible ability to turn dreams into reality, and now Sonic and his friends must stop Eggman from using this device to conquer the world.

Players are invited to join Sonic and his friends in an engaging dreamscape, unraveling an original plot and utilizing the unique abilities of six different characters. This adventure offers a variety of missions, boss battles, and the opportunity to collect toys featuring beloved Sonic characters, expanding your collection.

Sonic Dream Team will be an exclusive title for Apple Arcade, a platform that provides access to over 200 games for iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, and Mac through a monthly subscription priced at $6.99 (or the equivalent in other currencies). It's worth noting that games on Apple Arcade are ad-free and free of microtransactions.

Apple Arcade is also available as part of the Apple One plan, which offers access to several Apple services, including Apple Arcade, Apple Music, Apple TV+, and additional iCloud storage, all at a reduced overall cost compared to subscribing to each service individually.
