A new story trailer for the game Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been released
The game's storyline unfolds after the events of the first "Avatar" movie on the previously unexplored continent of Pandora. In this game, players will be compelled to join forces with various Na'vi clans to defend their homeland from the RDA corporation.
"You will assume the role of a child of two worlds, born as Na'vi but raised by the RDA," as stated in Ubisoft's description. "Fifteen years after your abduction, you are finally free and must reclaim your lost heritage."
Frontiers of Pandora is a first-person, open-world action-adventure game available on Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC, and Amazon Luna.
The game is being developed by Massive Entertainment, known for their work on "The Division" franchise and the upcoming Ubisoft game "Star Wars Outlaws," in collaboration with Disney and James Cameron's production company, Lightstorm Entertainment.
Originally, the game was planned for release closer to the premiere of James Cameron's "Avatar: The Way of Water," which debuted in theaters last year.
However, in July 2022, Ubisoft announced a delay in the game's release, and a new release date of December 7, 2023, was recently confirmed.
