Gamescom is scheduled to take place from August 23rd to 27th. The return of Gamescom Opening Night Live, hosted and organized by Geoff Keighley, is planned for August 22nd.

The company has announced that the Xbox booth will be "bigger than ever" and will feature over 30 games across 150 stations. Additionally, photo zones, diverse experiences, and a specially built 300-seat theater will be available.

During the show, Starfield and Forza Motorsport will be presented as part of "exclusive theater presentations." However, it appears that neither of these games will be playable at the event. Meanwhile, Stalker 2, Payday 3, Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and Armored Core 6 will have playable demonstrations.

In celebration of the ten-year anniversary of ID@Xbox, a section of the Xbox booth will be dedicated to upcoming ID@Xbox games such as Lamplighter's League by Paradox, SteamWorld Build by Thunderful, and Lightyear Frontier by Amplifier.

Xbox Fan Fest is making a return to Gamescom, where fans will have the opportunity to participate in the "After-Hours Booth event," gaining early access to the Xbox booth at Gamescom, engaging with the Xbox team and fellow Xbox players, taking part in FanFest Trivia, and participating in other exciting activities. Interested players also have the chance to enter a ticket giveaway on the Xbox Fan Fest website.
