Final Fantasy XVI has received an update, version 1.03.
The first post-launch update for Final Fantasy XVI is now available for download on PS5, bringing the game's version up to 1.000.003. The patch introduces several new features, such as a motion blur toggle, three new controller layouts, and expanded camera sensitivity settings. It also improves the stability of certain menus and addresses some text issues.
Square Enix has provided a full list of patch notes for the 1.03 update in the following tweet:
Given that motion blur was a bit bothersome during our review process, as noted in the conclusion of our Final Fantasy 16 PS5 review, the ability to adjust it is a welcome feature.
