Rashid, who made his landmark debut in Street Fighter 5, will be available in both the Fighting Ground and World Tour modes, offering players unique battles and captivating adventures in the world of Street Fighter.

The newly released character description states, "Rashid returns to the series, seeking a new understanding of life. Realizing this, he understands that he wants to find the strongest warriors around the world and capture their understanding of true strength." Thus begins his thrilling journey towards becoming a vlogger, always accompanied by his reliable camera for live streams and capturing moments that embody the spirit of strength.

Takayuki Nakayama, the game director of Street Fighter 6, shared some details about the creation of this unique character in an interview with the PlayStation Blog. "Hair and bangs presented a challenge and required numerous trials to achieve the desired look. We wanted to emphasize his use of wind and parkour, so we decided to use thin and fluttering fabrics.

"As a 'Footuber,' Rashid carries a camera attached to a belt that crosses his chest. His love for gadgets is confirmed by a smartwatch embedded in his bracelet. Air is added to his sandals to emphasize his lightness, jumps, and parkour movements. His gloves, sandals, and other attacking elements are adorned with a motif of a hawk's beak, symbolizing his aggression and liveliness.

Nakayama also described Rashid's fighting style: "His unique fighting style is characterized by parkour and nimble movements, as well as the use of whirlwinds and air currents to confuse his opponents. He has a multitude of techniques to attack while moving forward, and he possesses a unique action—a run that is performed after a forward step, providing him with numerous ways to approach his opponents."

Rashid will be the first of four new characters to enrich the game within its first year. He will be followed by A.K.I. in the fall, Ed in early winter 2024, and Akuma in the following spring. This promises exciting and diverse combat possibilities for all Street Fighter 6 fans.
