The online servers of the Pokemon Trading Card Game have been permanently shut down

Developers are discontinuing support for the online version of the Pokemon Trading Card Game. Additionally, this popular card game will no longer be available on the App Store and Google Play.

However, the franchise is not abandoning the Trading Card Game genre, as the Pokemon Trading Card Game Live will be released on June 8th, replacing the original version.

The transition to Pokemon TCG Live allows developers to update the game and its underlying technology, as well as attract more fans. The new game will be better optimized for smartphones and macOS PCs.

Pokemon TCG Live will also feature numerous improvements, including ranked competitions, a Battle Pass system, 3D avatars, and other visual updates.
