Joseph Staten, the former creative head of "Halo," has joined Netflix Games to work on a new "AAA" project

On Twitter, Staten announced that he will become the creative director of a new AAA game for multiple platforms at Netflix Games.

He expressed his love for collaborating with others to create worlds filled with iconic characters, deep mysteries, and endless adventures. Previously, he worked on the Halo series at Microsoft but left the company in January to join Netflix. It is currently unknown which project Staten is working on, but the Los Angeles-based studio, led by former Overwatch executive producer Chacko Sonny, is working on a third-person AAA game. Last month, Zack Snyder announced that he is working on a role-playing game (RPG) called Rebel Moon with Netflix, which he described as a game of "incredible scope". Netflix has also announced plans to significantly expand its gaming division and release 40 games in 2023.
