Avalanche Studios spoke about the system requirements of Hogwarts Legacy
Avalanche Studios, developers of Hogwarts Legacy released a few hours ago the requirements for gaming computers that gamers must have to run the game.
The studio introduced four different modes in which the game can run and told what components gamers need to have in order to play Hogwarts Legacy at the desired settings.
Minimum requirements to run at 720p and 30 FPS (low graphics)
- Processor – Intel Core i5-6600 or AMD Ryzen 5 1400
- Video Card - GeForce GTX 960 or AMD RX 470
- RAM – 16 GB
- Disk space - 85 GB (preferably on an SSD)
Recommended requirements to run at 1080p and 60 FPS (high graphics)
- Processor – Intel Core i7-8700 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- Video Card - GeForce GTX 1080 Ti or AMD RX 5700 XT
- RAM – 16 GB
- Disk space - 85 GB (SSD)
Recommended requirements for playing in 2K (1440p and 60 FPS, ultra graphics settings)
- Processor – Intel Core i7-10700k or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
- Video Card - GeForce RTX 2080 Ti or AMD RX 6800 XT
- RAM – 32 GB
- Disk space - 85 GB (SSD)
Recommended requirements for playing in 4K (2160p and 60 FPS, ultra graphics settings)
- Processor – Intel Core i7-10700k or AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
- Video Card - GeForce RTX 3090 Ti or AMD RX 7900 XT
- RAM – 32 GB
- Disk space - 85 GB (SSD)
The release of Hogwarts Legacy in the Harry Potter universe is scheduled for February 10, 2023. The title will be available for gaming PCs, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5 consoles. Later, the game will receive another edition with reduced graphics so that Xbox One and PlayStation 4 owners can also play it. The degraded version will appear on store shelves after 2 months. Nintendo Switch will also give its owners the opportunity to play Hogwarts Legacy, but they will be able to try the game later than everyone else. The release on handheld consoles from Nintendo is scheduled for July 25th.
