Ubisoft postponed Skull and Bones yet again
Skull and Bones developer Ubisoft Singapore posted on social media that the project's release date has once again been pushed back as the company wants to ensure the game's technical quality is at its best. We previously wrote about what Avalanche Studios had to say about the Hogwarts Legacy system requirements .
Ubisoft Singapore comments on this event:
Our commitment and focus remains the same - to offer the best gaming experience possible to our players on release day. This extra time will help us further polish and balance our gaming experience based on your feedback from previous tests.
Skull and Bones has been in production hell for a long time. The development of the project began back in 2013 as an add-on for Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag. The development of the pirate-themed game has been restarted several times, and the current postponement of the release date is already the sixth in the history of Skull and Bones.
In addition, Ubisoft canceled three unannounced projects. In recent years, the French company with new franchises is not doing well. Ubisoft relies on tried and true franchises like Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, Rainbow Six and more.
