The official announcement of GTA VI may take place at the end of 2022

According to French journalist and blogger Chris Klippel, Take-Two and Rockstar Games may officially present GTA VI at the end of 2022. At the same time, the source added that you should not wait for the game to appear on sale until 2024. At the time of publication of the material, the developers did not comment on this information.

Klippel believes that a full-fledged announcement of the new part of the series may take place at the end of this year. Well, if he talks about the release, then Chris expects it no earlier than the end of 2024.

Rockstar Games has previously stated that a sequel to GTA 5 is in the works - the process is "in full swing". The studio did not prematurely reveal the details of the new part of the franchise. However, the studio noted that with each new project, it sets itself the goal of surpassing everything that has been done to it before.

According to early rumors, GTA 6 will feature a "moderately" sized map that will expand and expand upon release, set in modern day Vice City. There were also rumors of several playable characters.
