US Securities Commission Opens Investigation Against Activision
Scandals around Activision do not even think to subside. Recently, the company was attacked by community anger related to the atmosphere at work, employee discrimination and other toxic practices.
Now Activision is interested in the US Securities Commission (SEC). According to The Wall Street Journal, an investigation was launched against Bobby Kotick's company, and the head of Activision, along with several high-ranking colleagues, received a subpoena.
Activision will have to submit a whole set of documents: minutes of board meetings starting in 2019, personal files of several former employees of the company, agreements for layoffs in 2021. By the way, earlier Activision was sued for harassment, discrimination and improper disclosure of information.
