Fortnite x Balenciaga - Epic Games and Fashion House to Collaborate

The developers of the popular Fortnite battle royale have announced an impending collaboration with the fashion house Balenciaga. As part of the collaboration, Fortnite will add items from this brand to the game. Balenciaga has specially crafted four Fortnite playable skins for Epic Games to bring new fashions to the game: Chainmail Ramirez, Stylish Dog, Fashionable Banshee, and Gamer Knight.

In-game cosmetic sets have already appeared in the game and are available for purchase. It is noteworthy that the white hoodie from the Stylish Dog Pack will be available not only as an in-game item, but also in Balenciaga stores around the world.

In addition to clothing sets, Balenciaga designers have prepared Fortnite players and other accessories that can be added to the game model. Users will be able to swap their backpacks for Balenciaga branded backpacks, as well as swap out a hang glider and even a pickaxe with a wrapper. A special emote will also appear in the battle royale.

Fortnite players will be able to visit the Balenciaga Virtual Store, where they will have access to special booths to customize their appearance. They will also receive a special "Fitting Balenciaga" outfit there.

Spanish designer Cristobal Balenciaga founded Balenciaga in 1919. After the death of the designer, the fashion house ceased to function until 1986. Jacques Bogart SA acquired the rights to the Balenciaga trademark in 1986 and relaunched the project. From 2015 to the present day, Georgian designer Demna Gvasalia has been the creative director of Balenciaga, and the house itself is part of the Kering fashion group.
