Maximum dissatisfaction - Crysis Remastered did not win the favor of gamers

After the release of the remastered version of Crysis on Steam, the game's rating began to decline. The reason for this was a large number of disgruntled gamers who accuse the developers of being greedy and the usual attempt to sell the same game twice. At the time of this writing, the number of positive reviews on the site from Valve is only 50%.

Most gamers claim that the game is not in the technical condition in which it can be sold. Crysis Remastered is practically teeming with bugs and is absolutely not adapted for modern computers of players, despite the fact that the graphics have not changed much since 2007. Many users also argue that the controls want to be better, and the artificial intelligence has gotten much worse. Some users noted the lack of multiplayer, which was in the original version of the shooter.

The Crysis remaster was released on September 17th. On the main aggregator of reviews, as befits such games, the rating of the title from journalists and real gamers is significantly different. Game journalists rated the game at 69 points out of 100 possible, and users gave Crysis Remastered 3.9 points out of 10.

The developers plan to release a collection of three "updated" Crysis games, which will be called Crysis Remastered Trilogy.

You know, even for 167 rubles is a shame. This is not a remaster, this is the bottom. Of course, I've already heard that the game, to put it mildly, has such a quality, but so much...

The guys from kraytek not only did not improve the game, but quite the opposite. So, what I ran into for a couple of hours (Ofc sitting offline):

1) The AI of the enemies has become incredibly stupid and broken: sometimes opponents see you from a kilometer away in disguise, and sometimes they don't notice you point-blank. And it's not a joke. I somehow cleaned out an outpost, I go, it appears, into some building. And there he stands! The enemy, that is. Looks at me. I look at him. He again looks at me in response, and I, in turn, look at him even more intently. Spark, storm, madness, all the things... For a whole minute we played staring at, but I ended up shooting him, of course.

I also amused the moment when the dummy tried to throw a grenade at me from the window, but something went wrong, obviously wrong, and he blew himself up, cake. I don't remember such problems in the original.

2) Destructible objects get stuck in textures and start making hellish sounds. And in general there are problems with physics. Again, I don’t remember that in the original.

3) There is no optimization and there will never be a campaign. Comp 2019 is heated like a stove, but why? And because the game does not know how to multi-core and stupidly eats the resources of one core. 2021 in the yard, by the way. But the Kraitek don't give a shit.

4) Management. The Kraitecs made a new control mode for the nanosuit and reconfigured the controls for it. I do not know what logic the person who made the default preset was guided by and whether he ever played shooters at all, but the default control is clearly configured for people with a non-standard arrangement (and, possibly, the number) of hands.

Further, it is already stupid for me to write to the bastard, so I just do a refund and do not advise anyone to buy. Better roll mods on the original.

A small but very important postscript: About a year ago, the Kraiteks were forced to stop developing a fan-made remaster of the first part, done by enthusiasts. Apparently they were afraid that the fan project would turn out to be better than their vyser (And I quite admit this) and will interfere with earning money. And they themselves could not do anything worthwhile and did not give others. The dog is in the manger, his mother is so. Bravo, Kraytek, bravo...
