FIFA has quietly expanded its presence on Roblox by deepening its partnership with the platform and launching a new official game titled FIFA Super Soccer. The release follows the earlier Roblox FIFA World experience and marks another step in FIFA’s growing focus on gaming and digital fan engagement.

FIFA Super Soccer is built on Gamefam’s popular Super League Soccer, which has now been fully rebranded under the FIFA name. The update introduces official national teams and well-known clubs, allowing players to compete in themed events connected to real-world football tournaments. The in-game experience also mirrors the build-up to the FIFA World Cup 2026, offering themed cosmetic items and tournament-inspired content.

Brand integration plays a key role in the project. Adidas is already involved through a four-week adidas Football Festival, featuring clubs such as Flamengo, Boca Juniors, Club América, Union Berlin, and Al Nassr. This approach highlights FIFA and Roblox’s intention to treat the collaboration as a long-term ecosystem rather than a short promotional campaign.

Developers also pointed to strong engagement during a limited-time FIFA takeover event held in Super League Soccer in June and July 2025, coinciding with the FIFA Club World Cup. The event attracted millions of play sessions and reportedly increased interest in real-world football among players, setting high expectations as attention turns toward the 2026 World Cup.

Through this partnership, FIFA aims to connect with the next generation of football fans by meeting them on platforms where they already spend time. Christian Volk, FIFA’s Director of Gaming and Esports, emphasized Roblox’s ability to bring fans together and expand football culture, noting that the collaboration supports FIFA’s broader push into gaming ahead of the 2026 tournament.

Roblox also sees the partnership as a way to help sports brands maintain year-round engagement. Lisa Willett, Senior Director of Global Strategic Partnerships at Roblox, highlighted the value of always-on digital environments, positioning sports experiences on Roblox as destinations that extend far beyond matchday moments.
