Betis midfielder becomes new investor in QLASH
Spanish esports organization QLASH has announced that Betis midfielder Victor Camarasa has joined the organization as an investor.
The footballer was the last notable name to invest in the organization, joining professional poker players such as Daniel Negreanu, Phil Hellmuth and Jeff Goss. According to a press release, his decision to invest in the organization was driven by his passion for video games.
Victor Camarasa, FC Betis midfielder: "Esports does not stop growing and becoming widespread. I had several suggestions, but when QLASH contacted me and I spoke to Diego (the managing director of the organization), I liked how well he explained to me project and my vision. I was really satisfied and decided to take a step forward. "
Before Camarasa joined QLASH as an investor, the organization announced the launch of an equity crowdfunding campaign in an attempt to accelerate the development of its tournament platform.
QLASH currently has rosters in disciplines such as FIFA, NBK2K, PES, Hearthstone, StarCraft, SimRacing, Brawl Stars, Call of Duty, Fortnite and PUBG.
