Astralis acquires Disrupt Gaming
Danish esports organization Astralis has announced its expansion to North America, acquiring Disrupt Gaming and launching its own brand in the United States along the way.
Astralis will take over the management of Disrupt Gaming's assets, key personnel, and facilities around its new Rainbow Six: Siege team. The team will play under the Astralis tag in the Rainbow Six: Siege North American League.
All of the organization's activities in the United States will be carried out by Astralis US in Las Vegas. The press release said that Mark Flood, founder and CEO of Disrupt Gaming, will become the organization's director of business operations for the United States.
