NAVI disbanded the lineup after Fortnite

The Ukrainian esports organization Natus Vincere has disbanded the Fortnite roster. At the same time, the organization decided to withdraw from the discipline, citing the instability of the competitive scene. Natus Vincere announced this on its official website.

Today we made the decision to close the Fortnite division. Despite the large number of online tournaments, the eSports scene is still unstable: players' results are influenced by the random factor, which makes it impossible to always be among the best. Also, the developers abandoned the Fortnite World Cup, which also did not take place last year.

The coverage of the championships themselves leaves much to be desired: most of them take place outside the stream, and the players can only be monitored on personal channels. Including because of this, the relevance of the Fortnite roster for clubs is falling.

The organization said the decision also involves reallocating internal resources among other emerging disciplines. For example, Natus Vincere recently opened divisions in disciplines such as VALORANT, Wild Rift and Brawl Stars.

As a reminder, NAVI opened the Fortnite roster in early 2019. Since then, the team has changed players several times. The most significant achievement of the organization in the discipline is the 44th place in the World Cup 2019 - Duo Finals.

The latest NAVI Fortnite roster looks like this:

  • Putrick.
  • 7tor.
