Julien Dupont joins Fnatic
The London esports organization Fnatic has appointed Julien Dupont as its new director of partnership development.
DuPont previously served as Head of Partnerships at Team Vitality starting in 2019. In a post on LinkedIn, DuPont said that Fnatic aims to grow its audience to "1B Fnatics" in the future, "in which games are the driving force behind the creativity of humankind."
Prior to joining Team Vitality, DuPont was Head of Partnerships in Sports and Entertainment at the French PR agency HOPSCOTCH Groupe. In addition, he was Director of Partnership Coordination at Havas Sports & Entertainment. DuPont also served as Head of Sales and Partnerships for Elite Model World.
This news comes at a pivotal moment for Fnatic as the organization is looking for a new main sponsor. In April, the organization teamed up with sports and entertainment agency SPORTFIVE to find its first jersey sponsor in three years. Recall that until this year, the main partner of the organization was the smartphone manufacturer OneFive.
Fnatic currently partners with BMW, AMD, Monster Energy, Parimatch, Hisense, Jack Links, Anda Seat, Letou and PC Specialist.
