ESL Premiership Expands Partner Agreement With Intel

The ESL Premiership, the domestic esports competition in the UK and Ireland, has expanded its partnership with technology company Intel and added VALORANT to its list of disciplines for the 2021 season.

According to a press release, VALORANT UK&I Skirmish-Powered by Intel will be the first event hosted by ESL Premiership. The main tournament will start immediately after the open qualifiers and the group stage, which will be held in a Swiss format. The championship is expected to kick off on June 26th as teams compete for a prize pool of £ 10,000.

As the main sponsor of the ESL Premiership for the 2021 Championships, Intel will partner with the organizer on a number of activations. In particular, the parties intend to support the "Intel #PREMVP" promotion, which is expected to separate certain games from individual players.

Along with Intel, ESL Premiership's commercial portfolio includes companies such as Verimatrix, the Beyond NRG energy drink brand, and Logitech G.

Open qualifiers for VALORANT UK&I Skirmish are scheduled for May 31st and June 1st.
