Team Liquid announces multi-year deal with IMC
Esports organization Team Liquid has announced a partnership with IMC Trading that will include logo placement on the team's jersey as well as support for the Team Liquid StarLeague StarCraft II competition. The IMC sponsorship will bring Team Liquid StarLeague new broadcast segments and rewards.
As part of the partnership, the two organizations will collaborate on a range of activities aimed at engaging fans and supporting the community.
The parties will also collaborate on a 24-hour live stream to raise funds for Room to Read, a literacy charity that IMC supports annually by donating full-day profits.
Note that IMC is based in Amsterdam, close to Team Liquid's own headquarters in Utrecht, Netherlands.
This is Team Liquid's first agreement with a major financial brand. IMC joins the likes of Alienware, Bud Light and Twitch, among others, as partners in the esports organization.
Earlier this month, Team LIquid signed a partnership with Bud Light for their LCS team and launched a new clothing line in collaboration with VIZ Media, Naruto Shippuden.
