Manchester City and Faze Clan set to host Fortnite tournament

English football club Manchester City has teamed up with North American esports organization FaZe Clan to host the Fortnite tournament.

The upcoming FaZe City Cup will feature some of the professional FaZe Clan players, content creators and Belgian Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne.

The collaboration will coincide with the launch of the Fortnite "Kickoff Set" cosmetic pack, which contains sets of 23 football clubs, including Manchester City. A total of 100 players will take part in the tournament, each of whom will receive early access to the Manchester City in-game skin.

The FaZe City Cup is one of the many joint events that have taken place between Manchester City and FaZe since the partnership was signed in September 2019. Previous promotions have included product launches, events in Manchester and Los Angeles, and a wide range of collaborative content.
