European esports organization OG has announced the departure of JMR Luna as CEO. Recall that the Spanish functionary has held this position since June 2020. The club in its address thanked the former CEO and wished him success in the future.
OG announces that JMR Luna has stepped down as CEO. This decision was made after many months of discussions and considerations from all parties. On behalf of everyone at the club, we would like to express our appreciation for what we have achieved over the past few years and wish him all the best for the future.
With the support of the existing leadership team, as well as N0tail and Ceb, we will continue to build on the company's vision and implement OG's core values in the next phase of its growth. We are very excited about 2023 and what it will bring to our teams, community and partners. We will continue to expand on our successes such as the Monkey Business Show as we work to bring new content and activities to our fans around the world.
It is not known who will become the new CEO of the organization. In a statement, the European club stated that N0tail and Ceb, as well as managers, would take over management in the near future. JMR Luna joined the OG organization in 2020. Last year, the Spaniard hosted the Monkey Business Show podcast with N0tail.
JMR Luna also has a wealth of experience in esports. In 2017, he was Head of Content at the North American organization Evil Geniuses, and in 2018 he became Vice President of Content Production for Immortals and its brands MIBR and Los Angeles Valiant. He then stepped back from the stage to spend some time with his other passion, producing a movie for Netflix.
