The competition replaces the LCS Academy and Proving Grounds, offering places for 16 teams to compete. The competition consists of all 10 divisions of the LCS Academy, as well as six "provisional" organizations. The North American Challengers League will run from January to September and will feature over 700 hours of streaming.
Our team is honored to play such a pivotal role in helping to grow the North American League of Legends esports ecosystem. This partnership will showcase our years of experience in esports and allow us to provide the best possible experience for players and fans alike.

It is reported that Rally Cry will also receive the rights to monetize and distribute the competition. The company is also responsible for hosting College VALORANT Season 2023, a discipline that is also owned by Riot Games.
