Mario Ho, NIP Group Co-CEO: "ESV5 and Ninjas in Pajamas have been in contact and discussion since 2020 and we are excited to be joining. Ninjas in Pajamas has been an esports brand for over 20 years with very high-quality brand assets, which helps us in our striving to become a more popular and valuable global digital sports group. Both parties will fully realize the added value and sharing of resources, and will fully open up the international structure of the NIP Group."

The ESV5 sports group currently operates two esports teams: eStar Gaming and Victory Five. The latter has already become part of the merger and has been renamed Ninjas in Pajamas to play in the League of Legends Pro League. NIP Group will also manage a number of support teams in the event and entertainment industry.

The new NIP Group structure will manage more esports teams and franchises, as well as other brands, including content and talent companies. In addition, all joint assets will join Shinobi, a Ninjas in Pajamas venture with Aser Ventures aimed at helping sports teams in esports.
