SG esports is leaving esports
Brazilian esports organization SG esports has made the decision to wind down its business operations and leave the esports industry. The club published the corresponding decision on its social networks.
Hello dear supporters and fans of SG esports! We thank each of you who have been a part of our history. When we started our journey, little did we know that everything was waiting for us in the future: joys and sorrows, battles, friendship, trials and achievements.
We announce that we will no longer continue the activities of the company. We wish success in the world to all the players and staff who have walked this trajectory with us. Thank you for your encouragement and support, without you this story would not have been written!
The SG esports organization was founded in 2016. During this time, the club has assembled several rosters in disciplines such as Dota 2, PUBG and Rainbow Six.
However, SG esports gained the greatest fame in Dota 2, where at various times its rosters became the winners of the ESL Brazil Premier League and DPC SA 2021/2022 Tour 2: Division II, and also got into the TOP-3 at BTS Pro Series Season 12: Americas, OGA DPC South America Regional League Season 1: Upper Division and World Cyber Games 2019 Americas Finals.
In addition, the team shone at The Kiev Major 2017, where it took 7th-8th place and earned $125,000.
