FaZe Clan renews partnership with McDonald's
The North American esports organization FaZe Clan has announced the renewal of a partnership agreement with the regional office of McDonald's in the United States. As part of the deal, the parties will launch new initiatives and "double down" previous campaigns. The partnership will include the creation of exclusive and original content with the participation of FaZe Clan content makers.
The collaboration, which began last year, will continue to focus on innovative ways to connect with the next generation of gamers and will promote last year's successful campaigns while launching new initiatives.
Lee Trink, FaZe Clan CEO: "McDonald's has been an exceptional partner for FaZe Clan as they understand the creativity and authenticity required to engage with a younger and more diverse audience. I am thrilled to renew our partnership with McDonald's USA as we bring the FaZe Clan community together through the power of the McDonald's brand."
To kick off a renewed partnership, FaZe Clan and McDonald's will be attending PAX West, a gaming conference in Seattle, this coming weekend. McDonald's will be hosting fan events at its booth, including a meeting with the club's content makers and sponsoring a demo that will give FaZe Clan's talent team the chance to view and play new and soon-to-be-released games at the conference.
Veronica Thompson, Director of Cultural Engagement and Activations at McDonald's USA: "Partnering with the influential and trusted gaming platform FaZe Clan provides us with a unique opportunity to collaborate on original programs that cater to the diverse interests of our fans. We are excited to continue our partnership with FaZe Clan this year as we deepen the interaction between the McDonald's brand and gaming fans."
Interestingly, just in recent months, the FaZe Clan organization has partnered with companies such as DoorDash, Disney, Ducky, Current, and the NFL. In turn, fast food restaurant chain McDonald's has long-standing partnerships with esports teams including Entropiq and Gen.G Esports, among others.
