Sony INZONE partners with VALORANT Champions Tour

INZONE, the new gaming brand of Japanese tech company Sony, has partnered with the VALORANT Champions Tour. The multi-year deal will allow the brand to become an official headset event partner. The agreement will begin with VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen, which will take place July 10-24 in Denmark.

As an official partner of VCT, Sony will provide its INZONE headsets for all VALORANT Champions Tour championships. In addition, the brand will partner with Riot Games to create a new broadcast segment known as Open Mic. The segment is intended to highlight the importance of communication between players during matches.

Note that this is not the first deal for the new gaming brand Sony, the global launch of which took place recently. Previously, INZONE brand partnered with the Evolution Championship Series (EVO) for 2022 and 2023.

The current roster for VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen is as follows: Guild Esports, Fnatic, FunPlus Phoenix, OpTic Gaming, DRX, XSET, XERXIA, Leviatán, LOUD, Paper Rex and Northeption.

VALORANT Champions Tour 2022: Stage 2 Masters - Copenhagen will take place July 10-24 in Copenhagen in a mixed format. The first weeks of the championship will be held in a studio format, while the final three days will take place at the Forum venue. As part of the championship, twelve participants from Europe, North and South America, Brazil, Japan, South Korea and Southeast Asia will play for an unannounced prize pool, as well as rating points.
