Daniel Finkler, CEO of BIG: "The expansion of the partnership with Coinbase as the new main partner of the BIG CS:GO roster is a significant milestone for our organization. The financial scale of the partnership demonstrates that the acquisition of partner slots on BLAST Premier and ESL Pro League in 2021 proved to be The best decision we could make. Together with Coinbase, we will compete in the biggest and most prestigious esports competitions around the world. I am very grateful for the trust in BIG and look forward to working with Chris Grundy and the Coinbase team."

It is reported that the agency SPORTFIVE became an intermediary in the deal.

Sascha Rangunwala, Country Manager for Coinbase Germany: "This partnership with Germany's leading esports organization has proven to help us better reach the digital asset audience and educate them about the benefits and risks of cryptocurrencies. That's why we have now deepened the partnership and look forward to jointly raising awareness and acceptance of cryptoassets in Germany".

Based on the announcement, BIG's initial partnership with Coinbase, signed last year, allowed the German club to buy partner seats in BLAST Premier and ESL Pro League.
