BIG expands partnership with die Bayerische

German esports organization BIG has announced the expansion of its partnership with local insurance company die Bayerische. As part of the renewed deal, die Bayerische will remain an official insurance partner of BIG throughout 2022. In addition, the insurance company will expand its commitment to the organization's League of Legends team by becoming its main sponsor.

Daniel Finkler, BIG CEO: "I'm thrilled to announce that our insurance partner die Bayerische will continue to be BIG's main supporter for the upcoming season. As part of the expansion of the deal, die Bayerische will increase its presence in the life of the League of Legends team. After two championships in Prime League and great performances at the European Masters 2021, die Bayerische continues to be an important pillar of our ongoing success. In addition, participation in Trackmania and StarCraft will be renewed. We are looking forward to many exciting games and projects together with our partner and team from Bavaria."

The expansion follows a deal signed last year that marked die Bayerische's entry into the esports industry.

Joachim Zech, CMO die Bayerische: "Just a year after our entry into esports and the decision to partner with BIG, we realized that our strategy was very well received by the community and that we were able to achieve our goals. Therefore, we are very pleased and proud so that this year we can continue to strengthen our partnership and celebrate further successes together."

Recall that last year's deal involved the creation of a new game jersey for the League of Legends team for the 2022 season. As part of the jersey campaign, BIG fans were able to submit their designs for competitive consideration. After that, the best options were presented for selection and awarded.
