100 Thieves is developing its own video game

North American esports organization 100 Thieves has officially announced the development of its own video game, codenamed "Project X". To achieve its goal, the organization has already hired former Telltale Games CEO Pete Hawley as chief product officer. Hawley will aim to set up a development studio and manage the project.

According to John Robinson, President and CEO of 100 Thieves, the game, which is currently being developed under the name "Project X", will be built with the organization's content creators and professional esports players. Robinson also announced that the organization would be hiring engineers, designers and artists to develop its project.

We're going to make a game with our creators, with our professionals, and with you, our community. We think it's a different way of making a video game than anyone has ever done before, we think that by doing it this way, we have a really good chance of success.

According to 100 Thieves, the game, codenamed "Project X", has been in development for over two years. Development is expected to begin once the club has assembled a sufficient team to create the game.

Along with Robinson's post, 100 Thieves has also set up social media accounts for their new project. The organization promised to share interesting news about the development of the project with their fans.
