CAA Sports partners with T1
South Korean esports organization T1 has signed an agreement with CAA Sports, a division of entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency. As a result of the deal, CAA Sports will represent the organization for sponsorship and support. In addition, CAA Sports signed a separate contract with Faker.
Joe Marsh, T1 CEO: "CAA Sports has a long history of supporting and building the careers of iconic athletes and brands. As T1 continues to break records and dominate the industry as the world leader in esports, we look forward to joining forces with the world's largest sales organization. We look forward to continuing to work on our roster of partners and to establish a long-term partnership with CAA Sports."
This is not the first time that CAA Sports and Creative Artists Agency have worked in the esports industry. Last year, the agency teamed up with the North American organization 100 Thieves. CAA Sports has also established global and regional partnerships with the League of Legends and VALORANT disciplines.
CAA Sports reportedly represents over 2,000 athletes from many sports including baseball, hockey, basketball and martial arts. In turn, T1 has partnered with companies such as BMW, Red Bull, Nike, Secretlab, and Razer, among others.
